My grandfather had a farm with lots of animals and a lot of vegetables. Of course, he also grew carrots. That’s why I want to show you a cocktail with carrots. The combination of grated carrots and Schweppes Ginger Beer is unusual, but really delicious.
45 ml/ 1 ½ oz. Gin
1 bar spoon lemon juice
1 bar spoon sugar syrup
90 ml/ 3 oz. Schweppes Ginger Beer
Rasp the carrot.
Place the sliced carrot with the remaining ingredients – except Schweppes Ginger Beer – in a shaker and shake vigorously.
Strain the whole with a fine sieve into a glass with ice.
After a boat trip on Lake Starnberg, I got the idea to show you a boat cocktail. The Banana Boat is a cocktail that uses Gin, Banana Liqueur and orange juice in order to make a nice strong banana flavored drink.

Put all ingredients with ice in a cocktail glass.
Stir the ingredients.

Midori is a sweet, bright green-coloured, muskmelon-flavored liqueur made by Suntory. It is manufactured in Japan, the United States, Mexico, and France. It was made exclusively in Japan until 1987. Midori is typically 20–21% alcohol by volume. It´s name is the Japanese word for “green”. The Midori formulated in France is sweeter than the original Japanese version.
