THE ARTIST´S MUSE COCKTAIL Recipe

The cocktail The Artist´s Muse tastes bittersweet and fruity, with complex aromatics from the Pisco and strong flavours of the gentian liqueur. The cocktail is named due to its originally being made with Suze gentian, a brand identified with artists and the arts – a bottle of Suze is depicted in a painting by Pablo Picasso.

INGRIDIENTS

  • 30 ml/ 1 oz. Pisco
  • 30 ml/ 1 oz. Suze
  • 15 ml/ ½ oz. Peach liqueur
  • 22,5 ml/ ¾ oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice    
  • 10 ml/ ⅓ oz. sugar syrup
  • 1 fresh egg white    

METHOD

  1. Pour all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice cubes.
  2. Shake and strain back into shaker.
  3. Now dry shake (without ice) and fine strain into chilled coupe glass.
