Vampiro Cocktail Recipe

VAMPIRO COCKTAIL Recipe

The Vampiro is a cocktail that includes fruit juice, spices, lime juice and Tequila. The Vampiro has a fruity savory and spicy taste. The Vampiro is popular in Mexico. Mexicans named the cocktail Vampiro (“vampire”) because the Viuda de Sanchez juice mixer’s red colour is reminiscent of blood.

INGREDIENTS

  • 60 ml/ 2 oz. Tequila
  • 30 ml/ 1 oz. tomato juice
  • 30 ml/ 1 oz. orange juice
  • 15 ml/ ½ oz. lime juice
  • 15 ml/ ½ oz. Grenadine
  • 7 drops Hot Sauce
  • 1 grind black pepper
  • salt

METHOD

  1. Pour all ingredients into shaker with ice cubes.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Strain into an ice-filled glass.
