CLOCKWORK ORANGE COCKTAIL Recipe

The Clockwork Orange cocktail is named after the film A Clockwork Orange.  A 1971 dystopian crime film adapted, produced and directed by Stanley Kubrick and based on the 1962 novel of the same name by Anthony Burgess. Neither as memorable nor as controversial as the film, but still a pleasant orange drink.

INGREDIENTS

  • 45 ml / 1 ½ oz. Cognac
  • 45 ml / 1 ½ oz. Grand Marnier
  • 75 ml/ 2 ½ oz.  orange juice

METHOD

  1. Pour all ingredients into shaker with ice cubes.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Strain into ice-filled glass.
  4. Garnish with an orange slice.
