New Year’s Absolution Cocktail Recipe

NEW YEAR’S ABSOLUTION COCKTAIL Recipe

I wish you a Happy New Year with the New Year’s Absolution cocktail. The cocktail is a lovely combination of anise, honey and apple with tangy ginger.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 barspoon honey  
  • 30 ml/1 oz. Absinthe
  • 30 ml/1 oz. apple juice
  • Top with Ginger Ale

METHOD

  1. Stir the honey with the Absinthe in base of shaker until the honey dissolves.
  2. Add apple juice and shake with ice.
  3. Strain into ice-filled glass.
  4. Top with Ginger Ale and stir briefly.
  5. Garnish with a mint sprig.
