Jalisco Cocktail Recipe

The origin of the Jalisco cocktail dates back to 1937, so this vintage cocktail may be the predecessor of the Tequila Sunrise.

INGREDIENTS

60 ml/ 2 oz. Tequila bianco
30 ml/ 1 oz. orange juice
5 ml/ ¼ oz. Grenadine syrup
1 pinch of salt

METHOD

Pour all ingredients into shaker with ice cubes.
Shake well.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Express orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.
