PRELUDE COCKTAIL Recipe

The Prelude cocktail contains no sweetness at all. It stands out for its subtle yet distinctive herbal notes—dominated by caraway—making it a savory cocktail in the style of a Martini. The Prelude is the ideal accompaniment to pre-dinner appetizers or pickled specialties such as herring.

INGREDIENTS

  • 40 ml / 1 ⅓ oz. dry Gin
  • 20 ml/ ⅔ oz. Lillet Blanc
  • 5 ml/ ¼ oz. Kümmel
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • 1 dash Absinthe

METHOD

  1. Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake.
  2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  3. Garnish with some capers.
