DIXIE DEW Cocktail Recipe

Who’s Dixie Dew? The Dixie Dew cocktail is a peppermint fresh and zesty orange, bourbon-laced cocktail for late-night sipping.

INGREDIENTS

  • 50 ml/ 1 ⅔ Bourbon Whiskey
  • 10 ml/ ⅓ oz. crème de menthe (white)
  • 10 ml/ ⅓ oz. Triple Sec. liqueur

METHOD

  1. Fill a mixing glass ⅔ full off ice.
  2. Add the ingredients and stir until well-chilled.
  3. Strain into a chilled glass.
  4. Express orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

DOMINICANA COCKTAIL Recipe

The Dominicana cocktail consists of just three ingredients: a Rum-infused coffee liqueur and a velvety layer of delicious, chilled cream. Essentially a Rum-based White Russian, but that description doesn’t do justice to this delicious cocktail, which is best enjoyed as an after-dinner dessert.

INGREDIENTS

  • 45 ml / 1 ½ oz. Havana Club 7yo Rum
  • 30 ml / 1 oz. Kahlùa coffee liqueur
  • 30 ml / 1 oz. cream

METHOD

  1. Fill a mixing glass ⅔ full off ice.
  2. Add the Rum and the coffee liqueur and stir until well-chilled.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  4. Shake or whip cream to aerate.
  5. Carefully let the cream float.
  6. Pour until it floats to the surface of the cocktail.

The Ranch Water cocktail is a light tequila cocktail from Texas. Common recipes for Ranch Water differ primarily in the ratio of Tequila to water. The story goes that Texas ranchers would pour or drink some carbonated mineral water and then add Tequila and lime juice to the bottle.

LEMONY COCKTAIL Recipe

Originally made with London Dry Gin, the Lemeny cocktail is a good one, but tastes even better with the added character and richness of an Old Tom Gin. As the name suggests, lemon dominates, with pleasant botanical and herbal notes from the Gin and the abbey liqueur Chartreuse yellow.

INGREDIENTS

  • 45 ml/ 1 ½ oz. Old Tom Gin
  • 15 ml/ ½ oz. Yellow Chartreuse
  • 15 ml/ ½ oz. Limoncello
  • 15 ml/ ½ oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 pinch of salt

METHOD

  1. Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake.
  2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  3. Garnish with some cherries.

This pomegranate and lemon cocktail is made with Montenegrin Raki and is a delicious and refreshing drink. It`s called Pomegranate Lemon Raki Cocktail and be careful: Raki is a strong spirit. Its alcohol content can reach up to 50%.

INGREDIENTS

  • 60 ml/ 2 oz. Raki / Rakia liqueur
  • 60 ml/ 2 oz. pomegranate juice
  • 60 ml/ 2 oz. Sprite or 7up

METHOD

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  2. Add the Raki (preferably grape raki) and the lemonade.
  3. Stir slightly.
  4. Pour the pomegranate juice over the drink.
