CIN-CYN COCKTAIL Recipe

The name of the cocktail Cin-Cyn is a play on words with “cin-cin,” the Italian word for “cheers,” and refers to the use of Cynar as an artichoke amaro in the original recipe. Cin-cin (pronounced “chin-chin”) is a toast used in casual settings instead of the more formal “Salute.”

INGREDIENTS

  • 30 ml / 1 oz. Cynar
  • 30 ml / 1 oz. dry Gin
  • 30 ml / 1 oz. Vermouth Rosso

METHOD

  1. Pour all ingredients into mixing glass with ice cubes and stir well.
  2. Strain and serve in a rocks glass with a large cube.
  3. Express orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.
