Monte Carlo Cocktail Recipe

MONTE CARLO COCKTAIL Recipe

The Monte Carlo cocktail is similar to a Manhattan cocktail, only with Benedictine replacing the sweet vermouth. And you can garnish with a twist of lemon if you prefer.

INGREDIENTS

  • 60 ml/ 2 oz. Rye Whiskey
  • 15 ml/ ½  oz. Bénédictine
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters

METHOD

  1. Fill a mixing glass ⅔ full off ice.
  2. Add the ingredients and stir until chilled.
  3. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.
  4. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
