Bicicletta Cocktail Recipe

BICICLETTA COCKTAIL Recipe

The Bicicletta (Italian for bike) cocktail is a lesser-known Italian cocktail. Italy’s well-known aperitivos include the Aperol Spritz, Americano and Negroni, but one often-overlooked example is the Bicicletta, a simple three-part cocktail that combines dry white Wine with Campari and sparkling water. And mixing the drink is as easy as riding a bike.

INGREDIENTS

  • 90 ml/ 3 oz. dry white wine (such as Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc)
  • 60 ml/ 2 oz. Campari
  • soda water

METHOD

  1. Add the Campari and white Wine into a wine or a double rocks glass.
  2. Fill the glass three-quarters with ice, top with soda and stir gently to combine.
  3. Garnish with two orange wheels.
