Jalisco Cocktail Recipe

JALISCO COCKTAIL Recipe

The origin of the Jalisco cocktail dates back to 1937, so this vintage cocktail may be the predecessor of the Tequila Sunrise.

INGREDIENTS

  • 60 ml/ 2 oz. Tequila bianco
  • 30 ml/ 1 oz. orange juice
  • 5 ml/ ¼ oz. Grenadine syrup 
  • 1 pinch of salt

METHOD

  1. Pour all ingredients into shaker with ice cubes.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Express orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.
