KING OF ORANGE COCKTAIL Recipe

The King of Orange cocktail was developed in the Netherlands in 2012 in honor of King’s Day, which is celebrated in the Netherlands every year on April 27. The cocktail tastes bittersweet, with the richness of Grand Marnier balancing the bitter liqueur and lemon juice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 40 ml / 1 ⅓ oz. Vodka
  • 20 ml/ ⅔  oz. Grand Marnier
  • 7,5 ml/ ¼ oz. Campari bitter liqueur
  • 10 ml/ ⅓ oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 25 ml/ ⅚ oz. Prosecco

METHOD

  1. Pour all ingredients – except the Prosecco – into shaker with ice cubes.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Strain into chilled flute glass.
  4. Top with Prosecco
  5. Garnish with an orange crown.
