The Dominicana cocktail consists of just three ingredients: a Rum-infused coffee liqueur and a velvety layer of delicious, chilled cream. Essentially a Rum-based White Russian, but that description doesn’t do justice to this delicious cocktail, which is best enjoyed as an after-dinner dessert.
INGREDIENTS
- 45 ml / 1 ½ oz. Havana Club 7yo Rum
- 30 ml / 1 oz. Kahlùa coffee liqueur
- 30 ml / 1 oz. cream
METHOD
- Fill a mixing glass ⅔ full off ice.
- Add the Rum and the coffee liqueur and stir until well-chilled.
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Shake or whip cream to aerate.
- Carefully let the cream float.
- Pour until it floats to the surface of the cocktail.
