This pomegranate and lemon cocktail is made with Montenegrin Raki and is a delicious and refreshing drink. It`s called Pomegranate Lemon Raki Cocktail and be careful: Raki is a strong spirit. Its alcohol content can reach up to 50%.
INGREDIENTS
- 60 ml/ 2 oz. Raki / Rakia liqueur
- 60 ml/ 2 oz. pomegranate juice
- 60 ml/ 2 oz. Sprite or 7up
METHOD
- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
- Add the Raki (preferably grape raki) and the lemonade.
- Stir slightly.
- Pour the pomegranate juice over the drink.
- Garnish with a slice of lemon and some mint leaves.
NOTES
Raki, Rakia or Rakija is a popular alcoholic drink across Balkans and Eastern Europe. It is a fruit brandy made from fermented and distilled fruits. The most common fruit is grapes but it can be also done with plums, figs, apricots, pears and other fruits.
